How much for this cake???

This is quite often the first question I am asked when someone first contacts me about a prospective order.

In truth, there is never a "one size fits all" answer. There are a whole host of different variables that will affect the end price, ranging from the number you need the cake to feed, the flavour/type of cake, and the amount of decoration required.

As a result, all of my quotes are provided after an initial consultation, either face to face, over the phone, or via email. I will try to establish as much information as I can before providing you with your tailored quote.

However, I appreciate that this can often be frustrating when all you are after is a rough ball-park figure. With this in mind, I have created the following price structure, with the aim of being as transparent as I possibly can. This also helps determine budget when quoting so that I can tailor your quote appropriately.

I pride myself on using premium ingredients for my cakes. However, there are alternative (and cheaper) options, and I want to be able to make these available to you, which will better suit some budgets. Also, not everyone likes rich cakes!

The prices below are based on basic decoration - detailed work is quoted and charged at an hourly rate which would be discussed with you during the consultation. 

I can use images supplied by you as inspiration for a design, but in the interest of respecting other cake artist's work, I am unable to create a direct copy. This also means that you are able to have a cake that is as unique as the person that it is for!

Home bakes, cupcake bouquets, cookies and other bakes do not fall into the below pricing guide. 

BRONZE - from £40

A 6" or 8" sponge or chocolate cake with standard buttercream. Decorated in fondant, with a printed image or simple fondant decorations.

Other flavours/fillings can be made at additional cost.

A 6 inch cake (at least 4" tall) will serve 8-12. A 8" cake (at least 4" tall) will serve 16-24

SILVER - from £65

A 8" cake with swiss meringue buttercream or cream cheese frosting. Includes fruitcake (at least 3 months' notice required), red velvet cake and carrot cake. Covered in chocolate ganache under fondant. Decorated in fondant, with fondant decorations.

Other flavours/fillings are available. A 8" cake (at least 4" tall) will serve 16-24

GOLD - from £90

a 2-tiered cake, typically 6" and 8". Smaller sculpted cakes also fall into this price range. 

A 2 tiered cake (6" + 8") will serve 24 - 36

BESPOKE - from £120

Wedding cakes, all cakes of 3 tiers or more. Large sculpted cakes or cakes with a lot of decoration.
